Before I begin my next tirade, I would like to thank Charlesetta Froele for MY FIRST COMMENT!!! Yes world, somebody not family or friend, who was not trying to sell me anything, read what I wrote, liked it and said so in print. Oh frabjuous day!! Calhoot! Calhay!!!! I have been chortling for hours now. Danke sehr, Obrigada, Gracias, merci beaucoup, tak, many many thanks.
Now, back to the world of dreams. Another thing in Second Life I found difficult to get my head around was my appearance. The clothing and body parts in the overwhelming majority of the virtual world is a bit, well, “come hither” (is that diplomatic ?) for my taste. This is what I wish someone had told me from the starting gate:
FREEBIES: RIP EM APART! Perhaps even more so than non wearable objects, clothing outfits and avatars can be gutted and reorganized. With avatars, simply put them on and strip a piece at a time, large outer pieces first. You may just like a top, or a part of a skirt. Don’t forget, you can move pieces of clothing with the edit button. With your “outfits” function, you can often change their color, texture or length. Leave jewelry, till last (you can move and alter that too). DON”T FORGET TO LOOK AT SKIN ,HAIR , EYES,TATOOS- If you only like one physical feature you can save it, and wear it with another body.

I’m still studying from you, while I’m trying to reach my goals. I in effect love reading all that is written on your blog. Keep the stories coming. I loved it!
My Dear Roberta,
